AREA SALES MANAGER – Heavy Plant / Telehandlers

North London & Surrounding Areas

£45,000 - £60,000 + 20% Bonus + Car Allowance

NEOS Engineering are working with an International OEM of Construction Plant who are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover North London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a growing manufacturer with a strong product range and excellent support structure. The role will focus on managing existing accounts while developing new business across the construction, plant hire and contractor sectors.

The successful candidate can come from backgrounds including Heavy Plant, Construction Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, Trucks, Agricultural Machinery, Material Handling or Capital Equipment sales.

The Role

• Managing and developing existing customer accounts
• Winning new business across the territory
• Selling a range of construction plant and equipment
• Working closely with contractors, plant hire companies and end users
• Conducting site visits, demonstrations and customer meetings
• Managing quotations, pipeline activity and sales forecasting
• Building long-term customer relationships across the region

The Candidate

• Previous experience within field sales or area sales
• Background within Plant, Commercial Vehicles, Trucks, Agriculture, Forklifts or similar
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Motivated and target driven attitude
• Ability to manage a territory independently
• Full UK Driving Licence
